st5310 Posted May 25, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 25, 2017 We're booked on the Summit July 7-16 and will be visiting Newport and Boston. If you have been to these ports and booked excursions, please recommend one or two that you were especially fond of. We're older, but in good shape, no walking issues. Thank you kindly... Neil Boston We did a fantastic Food Walking tour with Rachel from http://www.offtheeatenpathtours.com These tours of the North End Italian section of Boston feature delicious food stops and interesting history and colorful stories. This is one of the best tours we've ever done. Highly recommended. Newport Book one of the Mansion tours through the cruise line. They are reasonably priced and include round trip transportation. Neil We couldn't make Newport due to weather, but Boston has a wonderful walking tour of the historical sites...or you can take a Gray Line HOHO and get on and off at will. I have walking issues so we did the HOHO. You'll may need a taxi from the pier...it wasn't that close when we were there with Summit last October. You can google grayline and get all the info you need from them. The do an excellent job.
