boopsahoy Posted June 24, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 24, 2017 Going 7/2 on Breakaway for first time. Does it have a Casino at sea lounge/check-in area? What MDR is open for lunch on embarkation day? Thanks in advance!
ken98230 Posted June 24, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 24, 2017 We sailed March 2016 and I recall a lounge (roped off area with chairs) where we waited to board. I think check in was separate but not 100% sure. It was definitely better than the regular long lines. Not sure about the MDR as we just had a bite at the buffet. Yes separate waiting area for CAS. Boarding starts with Haven, handicapped, platinum plus then CAS! Have fun and good luck! Maplemoose Posted June 24, 2017 #11 Share Posted June 24, 2017 May I assume that the CAS checkin area requires a certain number of points? I have a card but very few points.
garycarla Posted June 24, 2017 #12 Share Posted June 24, 2017 May I assume that the CAS checkin area requires a certain number of points? I have a card but very few points. Having a card is different than being booked through CAS and then being a CAS guest. Two different things.
tokidoki Posted June 25, 2017 #13 Share Posted June 25, 2017 Does platinum go after CAS? Also trying to figure out if I should stay with platinum or CAS to board first? :o
momoftwinteens Posted June 25, 2017 #14 Share Posted June 25, 2017 When we sail in October, we will be both CAS and Platinum. I am hoping this means boarding early enough to grab some Vibe passes. Rare mking8288 Posted June 26, 2017 #16 Share Posted June 26, 2017 Interesting and going to follow this for the BA while it's in NYC. We're on the Gem this late April. Platinum/Plus boarded ahead (there're at most 75 to 100 at the roped off section) vs. CAS on our sailing (probably 200+ from eyeballing the CAS size) - even the check-in agent joked about tons of CAS boarding. Havens even escorted to board from their lounge area - Platinum used the AFT gangway, followed next by CAS so it was quick and easy ... might made a difference on the *Away ship if someone is aiming for those limited # of Vibe passes sold. On our BA sailings in past 3 years, CAS boarded ahead of Platinum in NYC.
tokidoki Posted June 26, 2017 #17 Share Posted June 26, 2017  Thx! As platinum, I'll check in then head over to CAS and board! Great
