Rare Morgsmom Posted June 30, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 30, 2017 Looking at booking Sept 30th on Divina; the current perks allow for "mealtime drink" program. From past experience on Costa I expect the same type of "house wines and draft beer" to be available. :( So, my TA called and asked if I could pay the difference to upgrade to the next level and was told no. It was the full fare of $45 pp/pd. Can someone confirm if this is true?
Rare Beamafar Posted June 30, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 30, 2017 It's possible to do it onboard - you pay the difference between the two plus 15% service charge. I don't know how much it is on Divina.
Happygcruiser Posted July 1, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 1, 2017 I spoke with MSC, and they allowed to upgrade for 9,6 EUR/person/day on the Fantasia, for Transatlantic in November.
Rare Beamafar Posted July 1, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 1, 2017 MSC won't deal directly with you if you've booked through a TA. The difference in price on Divina will be in US$ and is dearer than when Euros is the currency onboard as there is a wider range of drinks covered by the all-inclusive. Unfortunately the new website doesn't give access to the drinks package prices the way it used to so I can't find what the price difference is between the 2 packages. Rare Morgsmom Posted July 2, 2017 Author #6 Share Posted July 2, 2017 Thank you all. I saw that post but then my TA called and was told flatly that this was not the case (on buying "up" to the next level) because the Cheers promo is an added value. I wish that MSC could get the story straight! I don't want to book, get there, and roll the dice as that would start off my holiday on a very sour note.
