Luggage Tags

Log in to myncl and go to the edocs printing part. In the actual edocs themselves there is a link that will bring up the luggage tags for printing.

If you don't want to do that then wait until you get to the port and get some tags there. You will have to write your cabin number on those.

I don't know how other cruise lines do the baggage tag thing -

but with NCL unless in a Suite class cabin it is a DIY print your own.

As Keith noted look in your EDocs for the small luggage symbol

and click on PRINT bag tags. Your printer will print out a tag that

must be folded or cut to size to fit the handle of your bag - or NO

handle find a way to tape it on. There are commercial plastic

window tag holders that you insert the bag tag into and attach

to the handle. It is a good idea to beef up the paper printed bag tag.

If you don't have outside ID on your luggage - best to put some on

and place some INSIDE the bag in case the bag loses it handle.

At least you give the Lost & Found folks an opportunity to get

your bag back to you.

If you use the printed tags printed on your printer note that there

maybe color coding and ship location data to get your luggage

to your cabin door quicker. If using generic tags your bags may

be delayed.

And Oh Yes a good idea to remove all previous travel tags except

ID - which cabin - which ship - which cruise line are you cruising today !

In the past, all cruiselines were big at sending out nice packets with luggage tags before sailing. As times change and

a) Everyone wants the cheapest possible cruise

and

b) Everyone has email and a printer

Many have stopped spending the money to send them out. And, "some" people take way less luggage than in the past with casual dress codes. Then there are folks like us that just do carryon and do not even need luggage tags.

As said, if you show up at the pier without tags, they have some.
