Canukdiver Posted July 27, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 27, 2017 We'll be sailing on Spirit in the med at the end of the summer. Can anyone tell me what sort of dress code there is for the two MDR's. I'm to understand that one is casual and the other a little more formal? Do men require jackets or ties or is it just no jeans or shorts in the evenings? ColinIllinois Posted July 27, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 27, 2017 Dress code from the NCL Frequently Asked Questions: https://www.ncl.com/faq#packing Note: It is not always enforced by the staff but be prepared to be turned away if you aren't dressed according to the written code. Cheers.
sanger727 Posted July 27, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 27, 2017 In our experience: the casual MDR is along the lines of going to a chain restaurant at home. No swim wear but shorts, flip flops, and t shirts are fine. The more formal MDR is more along the lines of normal cruise casual. So khakis, button up shirt, polos; but you'll also see plenty of suits and dresses there. But no, jackets and ties are never required. ColinIllinois Posted July 27, 2017 #9 Share Posted July 27, 2017 And me with him. I like ColinIllinois. I often wonder where he lives. ;p Actually I'm barely in Illinois. St Louis is only 15 minutes away, right across the river. "ColinAlmostInStLouis" seemed too hard to type when I registered. :D

We sometimes stay on the IL side of the river when traveling to St. Louis.
