BeachyBoo Posted August 3, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 3, 2017 Which restaurants have reduced prices for Haven guests on Embarkation Day? The info I found is almost a year old and the way things are always changing, I'm wondering if anyone has any recent info. Thanks!
mjkacmom Posted August 3, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2017 I've never heard of that.
Heronymous Posted August 3, 2017 #3 Share Posted August 3, 2017 I never heard of that either, but when we were on the Escape last year Margaritaville was free for lunch only on embarkation day. Not sure if that was a special thing or not.
Dubbs Posted August 3, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 3, 2017 I saw someone's Esacpe Haven video and Margaritaville was free for lunch and Food Republic items were 50% off. This was first day only. Not sure if that's still the case.
garycarla Posted August 3, 2017 #5 Share Posted August 3, 2017 Are there any places where you can actually PAY for lunch?
Two Wheels Only Posted August 3, 2017 #6 Share Posted August 3, 2017 Are there any places where you can actually PAY for lunch? On Escape, Pinchos, M'Ville, and Food Republic are "pay" lunch venues. The PDF says Bayamo but it's not open for lunch AFAIK.
flcraigs5 Posted August 3, 2017 #7 Share Posted August 3, 2017 Just an FYI the Haven restaurant is amazing for breakfast, lunch and dinner!!!!
Had01 Posted August 3, 2017 #8 Share Posted August 3, 2017 Margaritaville was free to Haven guests last Saturday for lunch. We looked but decided on the Haven restaurant - which has been pretty faultless all week so far.
nrthrngal Posted August 3, 2017 #9 Share Posted August 3, 2017 It's Margaritaville until 3 on embarkation day. Your beverage plan takes care of the drinks there which are great and I always like going the first day instead of the Haven since I tend to fall back on that the rest of the cruise. Enjoy!! NayRN Posted August 3, 2017 #10 Share Posted August 3, 2017 Is M'Ville free for all on embarkation day or just Haven guests? It would be a nice option for all.......
Rare BirdTravels Posted August 3, 2017 #11 Share Posted August 3, 2017 Margaritaville is not free for any guests. Havens restaurant is free for Havens guests (all meals, every day).
nrthrngal Posted August 3, 2017 #12 Share Posted August 3, 2017 Is M'Ville free for all on embarkation day or just Haven guests? It would be a nice option for all....... I believe it's only for Haven guests and only the first day. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
NayRN Posted August 4, 2017 #13 Share Posted August 4, 2017 I believe it's only for Haven guests and only the first day. Sent from my iPhone using Forums Thanks for clarifying! It may be nice to try on embarkation day and then utilize the Haven restaurant the remainder of the cruise for lunch.
BeachyBoo Posted August 4, 2017 Author #14 Share Posted August 4, 2017 I saw someone's Esacpe Haven video and Margaritaville was free for lunch and Food Republic items were 50% off. This was first day only. Not sure if that's still the case. This is what I remember reading or watching here recently. I think they told them when they first walked into the Haven lounge right after boarding. I guess I'll find out in 30 days. I'm a planner so I was hoping to plan ahead, but I'll just have to get used to relaxing a little bit! Thanks for the info! Cyclops32 Posted August 4, 2017 #17 Share Posted August 4, 2017 I was on the Escape in June and margaritaville was free for lunch for Haven guests. Food Republic was 50% off also for Haven guests that evening. Both were only good the first day. They stated those specials when you had you Haven briefing when you first board. I am glad we did at least Margaritaville for lunch because even though I liked the Haven restaurant the menu is too limited for me for a week long cruise.
