BillB48 Posted March 14, 2018 #2001 Share Posted March 14, 2018 Will an Oasis Class fit under the Verrazano bridge? Without scrapping any paint ;) dp If and it's a big IF the Oasis and Allure can still lower their stacks, then yes they can clear the Narrows bridge. Since the the Harmony and Symphony were built in France and do not have to clear the Great Belt Bridge in Denmark, I do not know if either of these ships have the ability to lower the stacks in order to be able to clear the Narrows Bridge. squadron Posted March 15, 2018 #2005 Share Posted March 15, 2018 If Brisbane does get off the ground hope its a mid size ship (Vision, Radiance or Freedom class) rather than a mega-ship. Sent from my SM-G935F using Forums mobile app I'm hoping that cruises from Brisbane will be more "Australian" rather than almost immediately moving to NZ . Want to see Australia not NZ even that I do like NZ wine!

geoff2802 Posted March 15, 2018 #2013 Share Posted March 15, 2018 Villefranche has a booking for Jewel of the Seas 9 November 2019 which doesn’t match the old Trans Atlantic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Interesting. It does match the pattern for the end of Jewel's 2018 season from Rome though, where she does a 12 night cruise, calling at Villefranche on day 10 and returning to Rome before embarking on the TA. In 2019, her last cruise currently finishes on Oct 30, so the same itinerary would see her in VF on Nov 9 as per the port booking. springaussie Posted March 15, 2018 #2014 Share Posted March 15, 2018 Unsure if if this has been reported Los Angeles has a booking for Vision 30 October 2019 which isn’t entered as a turn around. 1 December 2019 for Vision still shows as a turn around at Los Angeles. Looks like they are trying to attract a younger clientele. Mariner is getting all the slides etc. Not for us oldies.
