RCCL Cabin facilities

there are no facilities to iron your clothes on board for passenger use and no, you may NOT bring one or a travel seamer on board. pressing is half the cost of dry cleaning and fairly reasonable according to most people.

the hair dryer on board is.. there. if you have very thick, or curly/wavy hair, it will take a year to dry with the provided device. you ARE allowed to bring a hair dryer or other implement( curling iron, straightener, etc) on board.

Thanks for the replies guys...wife will love that, wrinkly clothes [emoji38][emoji38]

Again, the ship will gladly press your wife's clothing for a reasonable fee. Look at the expense as the cost of a few drinks or gambling chips over the course of the cruise.

We asked the steward and they brought a board and iron to us, only for a short period so you have to move fast - it was 2012 so it could have changed since then

Very hard to imagine - are you sure this was on Royal Caribbean? They have always been very strict about irons.

Actually, back in the early 2000's, they were NOT that strict with clothes irons...in the info booklet in the cabin, it specifically asked you to be sure your iron was unplugged when not in use! We used to bring our small travel iron on all our cruises....not anymore, tho.
