Best Eco-Tourism excursions on Grenada

We're visiting Grenada for the first time in early 2019. We typically prefer less developed ports and eco-tourism destinations. (For example, one of our favorites is Dominica.) We also enjoy snorkeling. There seem to be lot of appealing options on Grenada, but we're torn a desire to see the under-water sculptures and the desire to hike into the forest to visit the waterfalls. Would love some input from those who have done one or the other. Is it possible to do both? We're only in port 8-5. What's the best option for folks like us? Thanks in advance!

Both options can be done but not well in one day. I would definitely recommend Grenada Seafaris as it not only takes you to the sculpture park and gives you a guided snorkel (they are key members of the small group that maintain the statues) but they also give a lot of information about the island (history, geography, ecology etc) in the 2.5hr powerboat adventure. Its actually a very good one-stop-shop for sightseeing/snorkeling/fun/information. The tour usually ends by 11:30 so you would still have time to go to the beach and relax or go to see the waterfalls with one of the Taxi association 1/2 day tours.
