Cruisin4aTan Posted August 15, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2017 If we book a convertible car tour and it gets way to hot can the drivers put the tops up? Or do to the age of the cars is that not possible? Do these cars have ac? (meaning i know they have ac but do many of them have working ac lol) We are arriving on the 28th and I am ready to book something this week. Thank you!!! alfaeric Posted September 11, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 11, 2017 After a total of 4 days wandering around Havana, I don't recall seeing any convertible with it's top up. I know that is very late to the OP.... But I do know some of the hard top cars have AC- ours did back in July.
cruisencrazy Posted September 30, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 30, 2017 They can barely keep the cars running. The convertible tops are not a thing there. Most people had on huge hats. We prefered our air conditioned bus with bathroom for the long tour and then a quick ride in the convertible the next day.
MR TIME Posted September 30, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 30, 2017 we got a convertible just by walking across the street from the pier. Plenty of them waiting in line, if you walk away, they really start making deals. We ended up 4hrs for $20. Went to Havana bar (Hemingway) and some place for giant lobster tails for I think it was $6 a plate. They love the "Americans" tipped him well, it was worth it. they

sharke Posted November 11, 2017 #7 Share Posted November 11, 2017 We toured Havana on 10/18 in a 1950 Chevy convertible. It does have a convertible top. Lino had to put the top up at the end of the tour when it started raining.Reach out to Lino Blanco at Lino.blanco1983@nauta.cu. He can customize a city tour for you. His English is excellent and he is a personable guy.
