I have been down to Acapulco about 4 times on cruises.Some people ( and including the Captain on the Mercury) went out to dinner.

Acapulco is beautiful at night! Since we were on a 20 day cruise, we decided to eat in town just for something different. The "night life" area really isn't within walking distance (although there are several perfectly nice places on the water which are), so we took a cab and had the driver pick out a place for us. We went on the other side of the bay, on the hillside to a nice place with a beautiful view. No problem!
