Poohb Posted August 20, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 20, 2017 On our 5-night Bermuda cruise, we received a 'letter' on the door with a code and info to get $5 free to use in casino. We are not gamblers at all but free is free. DH walked out of the casino with $81 from the Wheel of Fortune machine. So Royal paid us to walk into the casino. Thanks Royal. cruisegirl1 Posted August 20, 2017 #3 Share Posted August 20, 2017 On Majesty (this past week) every cruiser over 21, was given $5 in casino credit. M
Hobbyco Posted August 20, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 20, 2017 Yes we had that on Navigator late June. My wife was lucky (although not quite as good as you-well done!) and walked away with $41.

loudbmw Posted August 20, 2017 #6 Share Posted August 20, 2017 On the Oasis last March, three out of four people in our party each received a $5 casino credit. When we inquired why the forth member of our party did not receive the credit, we were told that he had inserted his sea pass card into a slot machine earlier in the cruise. It seems they offer the credit only to folks that have not visited the casino mid-way into the cruise. In any case, we invested our $15 credit in the Wheel of Fortune machine. We scored a $120 win on our last spin!

Cruisin' Again 86 Posted August 20, 2017 #10 Share Posted August 20, 2017 If you don't visit the casino, the casino does send out vouchers to ALL guests that have not played. This usually happens after night 4 on 7 night cruises...
Cigar King Posted August 21, 2017 #11 Share Posted August 21, 2017 I get that more often than not. Wife plays in the casino, I do not. (usually) She does not get them. I assume they try to get the non players to come by, and maybe risk a little of their own money as well.
marci22 Posted August 21, 2017 #12 Share Posted August 21, 2017 I used mine on the penny slots and won $25. I immediately cashed out because that was a big win for me.
Debitoo Posted August 21, 2017 #13 Share Posted August 21, 2017 My daughter and I received one on our Harmony cruise last March. I thought we got it because of C&A. Never had it before. We went to the casino on the last night. She blew hers in 2 minutes. After 5 minutes I had $350. I cashed out and we left. :D

Cigar King Posted August 21, 2017 #15 Share Posted August 21, 2017 You can, and I believe that since they took away smoking on the balconies there is more smoking in the casinos.
NatsFanOnBoard Posted August 21, 2017 #16 Share Posted August 21, 2017 Everyone over 18 in our party got a coupon on Adventure a few weeks ago (except for me because I'd already been in the casino). There are also some free spin coupons stuffed in with the compass on a few different days during the cruise - don't miss those!
marci22 Posted August 21, 2017 #17 Share Posted August 21, 2017 The coupons are stamped with an expiration date so don't forget to use them. We thought they were good for the length of the cruise and we lost some :loudcry:

Most will put their room key in or in the case of Anthem, just tap it on the slot machine, so it will track your play.

Cigar King Posted August 22, 2017 #24 Share Posted August 22, 2017 How do they know who visits the casino?? You don't have to use your room key. You don't have to use your room key, but, I'd bet that's how they determine who is using the casino. I'll bet a very high percentage of casino regulars use their keys.
