Rare dickinson Posted August 23, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 23, 2017 I don't know the answer but public transit on the MBTA (the "T") is inexpensive and easy. You will dock at Black Falcon Terminal which is on the silver line. Get on there and you will need to change trains to the red line towards Harvard/alewife. Get off at Park St. That is at the Boston Commons and the State House. It is the beginning of the Freedom Trail. Follow the red brick pavers in the sidewalk to walk the Freedom Trail til you hit Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall. It costs $2.75/person to take the public transit in each direction. No cost for transfers. Here is a link to their map http://mbta.com/schedules_and_maps/subway/ Here is their phone # (617) 222-3200 . Call to get specific info. I lived there years ago and it is real easy. A few years ago we did a cruise which stopped in Boston. I called them and found out exactly how to go. Easy peasy and cheap! Enjoy! Boston is a great stop.

2forseas Posted August 24, 2017 #8 Share Posted August 24, 2017 If I remember correctly, we took the Hop on Hop off bus when in Boston. I am fairly certain it took us at (or near) the Quincy Market.

CanICruiseSoonPlease Posted August 25, 2017 #10 Share Posted August 25, 2017 Yes there is at a cost. They sold it at the excursions desk. It was not expensive. I purchased one last year. They dont sell it online but they do on the ship.
