Tiger0613 Posted August 28, 2017 #26 Share Posted August 28, 2017 The Costco card also gives 3% on Travel - almost any Travel. However, you do have to join Costco and there is an annual fee to do that. Regular Membership: $60 + tax(if applicable) Executive Membership: $120 + tax(if applicable) The Executive Membership has rewards and extra benefits that can make it worth it if you spend enough at Costco. It offers 2% cash back on in-store, Costco website, and Costco Travel purchases, up to $1,000 per 12 month period. You would have to spend $3,000 to break even on the extra $60. This is in addition to the cash back from the card. The card has a 3% foreign transaction fee. You get cash back once per year with your February statement(check or statement credit). You have to go to the store if you want a check. The Costco card is defintely worth it if you can live with those terms.
chicchic325 Posted August 29, 2017 #27 Share Posted August 29, 2017 We have the Carnival CC and it works for us. We use it as our main CC and have enough for onboard credit and gratuities for 2 to be covered for our upcoming 8 day cruise. We are considering getting the Chase Sapphire for other travel options. It is like any direct travel CC. If you like and want to travel almost exclusively on that airline/cruise line/etc- their cards are great with extra perks. If you want more options, go with other cards.

After that it cost $ 95 per year and didnt think it was worth that much so we cancelled it after first year
