Last Monday, self walk off on the Sky started at 7:10 and we were at the taxi stand at 7:20.

But you have no control over TSA security, and the Escape disembarks on a Saturday, so keep that in mind. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
elcuchio24 Posted September 11, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 11, 2017 probably, but it may stress you out. We had a customs delay on RCL a few years ago, didnt start the debark until about 10. I would say at least half of people with flights missed them.
cb at sea Posted September 11, 2017 #6 Share Posted September 11, 2017 Yes...we routinely do a 10:45am flight home...and we don't do self-carry. We simply make sure we're in one of the 1st groups off the ship, and are usually at the airport before 9am.
Vreader Posted September 11, 2017 #7 Share Posted September 11, 2017 I've been on a few ships where there were delays due to immigration issues and or customs so I wouldn't book a flight before noon. Sent from my iPad using Forums
fridaythe13th Posted September 11, 2017 #8 Share Posted September 11, 2017 I think it's doable, but don't forget you need to check luggage an hour before the flight takes off.

zqvol Posted September 11, 2017 #10 Share Posted September 11, 2017 Normally I would say yes, but with Irma having just been through Miami, and not knowing the conditions of any of the infrastructure, I would not want anything before noon. 11:00 is usually OK, even doing regular disembarkation, but you really don't want to miss a flight. Vyhanek Posted September 13, 2017 #13 Share Posted September 13, 2017 Yes you'll have no problem at all. I've done many 10:30 flights and been sitting at the airport an hour before boarding! The key is to do self disembark and be in line early. We've been off the ship, thru immigration, in a taxi and at the airport by 9am. Getting to the airport at 9am means you beat all the other cruisers trying to get home from all the other ships disembarking that day. Miami has their act together. Its rare you hear about a delay. You'll be fine.
