BIG POOCH Posted March 1, 2018 #126 Share Posted March 1, 2018 None of them. They are constantly yelling into the microphones, and disturbing everyone on the ship. I wish they would do away with the position.

cmukid87 Posted March 1, 2018 #129 Share Posted March 1, 2018 Dr. E. I have only experienced 5 cruise directors...one of them was my first cruise which I was so blind to what was happening I didn't even know what a cruise director was. But Dr. E blows them all away. Kyndal93 Posted March 1, 2018 #130 Share Posted March 1, 2018 I never even really noticed them or bothered to remember their names. I don’t feel like they have any effect on my cruise experience. Maybe I’ve just never had a good one, who knows! Sent from my iPhone using Forums

kayjo Posted March 1, 2018 #141 Share Posted March 1, 2018 Several years ago we had "Shorty" on the Fantasy. She was my favorite of all time, followed her on FB after the cruise and she got a huge promotion and is no longer a CD.
TNcruising02 Posted March 1, 2018 #142 Share Posted March 1, 2018 Matt on the Vista. He's the best CD I have ever seen. He made everything fun and was as entertaining as a comedian. He was everywhere greeting people and making sure everyone was having a good time. Many times I never really pay too much attention to the CD, but it's very noticeable if you have one that is great or one that is not good at all. Carol Jones Posted March 2, 2018 #143 Share Posted March 2, 2018 We LOVED wee jimmy. Our fav so far. Recently enjoyed Mickey. We liked DR. E the first time, but when we had him again it just seemed like he does/ says the exact same thing and it gets old. Moviela Posted March 2, 2018 #147 Share Posted March 2, 2018 Has to be Julie on the Love Boat. I have enjoyed every cruise director lately, they all made life easier and more fun aboard... My current favorite is John Heald. I like his British wit and courtly manners.
