Players Club Offers

While I don't personally use a TA, I have read multiple posts here on this board where others have been able to book their casino offers through their TA. Just be aware that Carnival will likely not provide any customer service to you if you reach out to them, but will instead refer you to your TA who may work fewer hours than the 24 hour Carnival customer service available.

I had a Players Club Offer just the other day, the cabins were going fast and I could not reach my PVP, so called our TA and she booked it. I happened to be looking at our "cruise details" a couple of days later and Carnival had my son's email address listed for me, have no clue how Carnival even had it as he has never cruised with Carnival. Thought I'd just call Carnival directly and have it corrected. Man was that a mistake, the customer care lady was as about as rude as anyone I had ever talked to because I had used a travel agent. Needless to say I had to contact the TA and she was able to get it changed. But there's just no reason for that.

By rude, she told you she was unable to assist you in any way? This is true. She should not need to add in some LOL:'):'):loudcry::loudcry::D:Ds

Once the booking is made through a TA that agency owns the contract and by contract law Carnival can not talk to you about changes or errors on the booking. The only communications allowed in that case are between Carnival and TA agent or company; and between the TA to you or the others on the booking. Carnival customer care may be willing to do little things like change the bed configuration, but if it is not something you can edit on your own in your cruise manager then calling Carnival is a no go, you must post all inquiries and concerns through the TA.

TO THE OP:

When you say TA are you referring to a actual brick-n-mortar agency, a travel club that requires membership, or an online reservation taker. Both B&M agencies and travel clubs that have a real live person you could book with over the phone or in person should be able to get any loyalty discounted booking rate you are eligible for including OPC casino specials. Even if you choose to book online through them. Online reservation taking companies may not have access to your VIPF account which will block them from getting the OPC discounts.

Yes, you can. I have a wonderful TA and he works much harder for me than Carnival customer service ever did! You dont need to talk to carnival, just do it through your TA, they will help you with anything that comes up and quicker!
