Everyone's tastes, opinions, and pocketbooks are different, and there are thousands of ports. Your best bet would be doing some reading or asking questions on the Ports of Call Forum for the ports on your particular cruise.

Have you read reviews of your cruise? Many people do talk about what they did in the various ports.

Have you joined your Roll Call? That is where you can talk about private tours as well as HAL's excursions.

You left us in the dark as you didn't tell us what ports you were asking about.

 

To do a general ports listing all over the world is impossible - even for the best travelled.

 

The Ports boards is your best bet as was recommended. Hit the area you are visiting and if you don't see the answer you can start a thread on a specific port.

I will usually look at the cruise line's excursions for inspiration, will probably book a few through them.
