Mojo Daddy Posted November 3, 2017 #27 Share Posted November 3, 2017 The longest sailing down in the tropics on any ship. Freestyle Norwegian or Windstar, but if Royal Caribbean was offering I'd take it on Harmony or Quantum. :D

Pellaz Posted November 5, 2017 #30 Share Posted November 5, 2017 Well, if it's ANY ship and ANY itinerary, everything included, I'd have to go for a 2-bedroom residence aboard The World. --And then take my family along. Since the ship doesn't have fixed itineraries with endings, I guess we'd be on there indefinitely. :)
whyrlygig Posted November 5, 2017 #31 Share Posted November 5, 2017 I actually DID win my first cruise! It was a work/sales contest. It was April 2002 - 7 night, Enchantment Western Caribbean. I had never even considered a cruise before that but we got the “bug” immediately and haven’t had a day without thoughts of cruising since. Jasukkie Posted November 5, 2017 #36 Share Posted November 5, 2017 Something that could bring me to both the Northern Lights and Tierra del Fuego, an almost polar around the world cruise, not sure that exists. Lots of time at sea. Will need an excuse for work though lol.

Rare Shippy Posted November 5, 2017 #41 Share Posted November 5, 2017 My husband won a 'free' cruise decades ago through a business promotion. Needless to say....we were shocked at the end of the year when we received a tax statement...for the brochure rate of the cruise !

accio_7 Posted November 5, 2017 #43 Share Posted November 5, 2017 Oh man, so many options! A world cruise would be amazing, but I doubt that I would be able to take that much time off work :( A bucket list item for when I finally retire, then! Realistically, if I won a free cruise, I would love to sail any of these itineraries: - Alaska (because it’s astronomically expensive for me to sail there solo) - Southern Caribbean - Mediterranean or Northern Europe - Hawaii - Transatlantic While I love RCI, I would be very open to sailing on other cruise lines, especially the luxury, high-end ones :)
bcarney Posted November 6, 2017 #44 Share Posted November 6, 2017 I'd pick one of the Azamara cruises that goes to southern Asia. That whole part of the world is so alien and strange to me...I'd love to go there.

cynt Posted November 6, 2017 #48 Share Posted November 6, 2017 OMG!! 90 days Start in LA head to Hawaii and spend 2 or 3 days on each island. Cruise on to Fiji/French Polynesian, spend 5 or 6 days there. Head on to Australia spend a couple of weeks cruising around the continent. Cruise north up the Pacific Ocean and hit all those countries Philippines, Taiwan, China n Japan. Spend a week or so in each country with many over night stays. Hop a plane in Japan and fly to Italy to comtinue my journey and cruise the Mediterranean hitting all the ports along the way and spending the night in most of them for 2 or 3 days. Maybe I'll need 4 months. LOL!😁 16 yrs and 7 months until retirement. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Forums mobile app
