scubagirrl Posted December 8, 2017 #3 Share Posted December 8, 2017 does anyone know if you can take the ferry to blue lagoon island without doing an excursion? No. The ferry is free when you pay for an excursion. You can reserve an observer excursion, it's the lease expensive, but doesn't include food or any other package. Booking directly requires you to pick up your ticket (and ferry) at the paradise island ferry terminal You cannot board the ferry without your ticket and wristband. limeyalchemist Posted January 10, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 10, 2018 does anyone know if you can take the ferry to blue lagoon island without doing an excursion? You can catch a water taxi from the main building right to paradise island ferry terminal. You pay there, and catch ferry to BL island. Prices on Norwegian are identical to booking direct now, so easier to go with the cruise line. Only one boat trip vs two if you do on your own. Sent from my iPhone using Forums It's not wise to rely on the water taxi if timing is an issue. Although they SHOULD leave every 30 minutes, it's unlikely that they will get you there quickly. Take a taxi, and leave the water taxi for when you have more leisure time.
