rakes5 Posted January 28, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2018 After almost 30 cruises, we are on our first really rocky cruise. We are stuck in a low pressure area, and it seems to be following us. We were supposed to have 2 sea days to Antigua, but today the Captain announced we are skipping Antigua, and slowing down. We will call at our next scheduled port of Barbados on time. At least no rain just mostly cloudy, with brief periods of sunshine. Very windy everywhere.
RickT Posted January 28, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 28, 2018 Watched your sail away on the Ft Lauderdale cruise cam and noticed the wind was strong enough that a tug was required. Hope the seas calm soon. A quick question, on the Silhouette in a few weeks and wonder who the house bands are? Also who is the guitarist? Any thoughts/comments on how good they are? Elusive_Cruiser Posted January 28, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 28, 2018 We got off the Silhouette on the day you embarked. Our last sea day was a little rockier than we've experienced in the past, particularly during the night before porting in Fort Lauderdale. Other than that, we had very smooth sailing, with no hiccups. Hope your experience improves.

They haven’t been playing outside. Tonight the daily just says house band or classic string duo. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Not trying to hijack your post, but we are currently on Serenade. Totally agree with you and the rocky seas. Have done many cruises this ship has been rocking for days. Suppose to be in St Thomas tomorrow. We will see.
