Katie0713 Posted February 3, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2018 Maybe I am out of the loop, but why are there no Ships in Fort Lauderdale this summer??? I am trying to book a Caribbean cruise, I prefer Fort Lauderdale over Miami and it looks like there is NOT a carnival ship in Fort Lauderdale in June, July, or August? Anybody know why???? I guess, I will have to adjust my plans.
summersigh Posted February 3, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 3, 2018 Not sure where you got your information. I just looked and there are a lot of cruises that go out of FFL in the summer -not HAL but others - CCL, Princess, RCL
Katie0713 Posted February 3, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted February 3, 2018 I am on a Carnival cruise line board, I am looking for Carnival ships that leave Fort Lauderdale in July 2018. I can not FIND ONE. Can you share what ships are leaving Fort Lauderdale in 2018 from the Carnival Cruise line please. I am having ZERO luck
Katie0713 Posted February 3, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted February 3, 2018 I went back and looked again, the Conquest is sailing 5 day trips. I had my search engine on 6-9 day cruises. I guess its a B2B on the Conquest or find another port ;(........where did all the ships go that usually sail out of Fort Lauderdale?????
7upp Posted February 3, 2018 #5 Share Posted February 3, 2018 ??? Check Carnivals website. Conquest sails out of Fort Lauderdale. Sent from my iPad using Forums
ladiibug Posted February 3, 2018 #6 Share Posted February 3, 2018 Weird. I just checked the website and found the same thing. No 6-9 day sailings out of FLL this summer. 🤷🏼 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
teknoge3k Posted February 3, 2018 #7 Share Posted February 3, 2018 Could it be that all of those sailings are completely sold out? Do they take them off when they're completely full?
Rare Essiesmom Posted February 3, 2018 #8 Share Posted February 3, 2018 Conquest has been the only Carnival ship from FLL all year. If you want 7 days, Miami is not the much further south. EM
deliver42 Posted February 3, 2018 #9 Share Posted February 3, 2018 I believe the conquest is the only regular in FLL. The Splender is there sometimes, but she will be going somewhere else, though I don't know where. For a 7 day cruise you can go to Miami of Canaveral. RedLightVegas Posted February 3, 2018 #10 Share Posted February 3, 2018 I live in Ft Lauderdale and can see the port from my condo. It's always Princess, HAL, and RC out of that port. Rarely is there a Carnival boat over there.
summersigh Posted February 3, 2018 #11 Share Posted February 3, 2018 I went to a site that can't be named here because it books vacations but I saw that CCL, Princess, RCL all have multiple sailings from Ft Lauderdale this summer. HAL moves it's ships to Alaska, Europe and some other places during peak hurricane season.

serene56 Posted February 4, 2018 #13 Share Posted February 4, 2018 What's so special about port Everglades. And what's wrong with Mia? What about Tampa or Jacksonville?
