Alaska - Princess Island Denali Explorer Tour AB-3 Sept 9, 2018

Anybody taking or haven taken this tour? Flirts time cruisers!! Any advice? Excursions, beverage packages, etc. Any suggestions would help!!

As with any Princess cruisetour, be sure you either have the Tundra Wilderness Tour included or that you have time to upgrade to it. The Natural History Tour is just that - about natural history and culture. Unlikely to see much wildlife and not very scenic compared with the TWT. Also, that is a bit late in the season for Denali. You might encounter snow in the park though usually it doesn't close the road for the entire day.

end of the season means rain, and you are reading the end of salmon runs as well.

 

Personally I rather drive myself for the land portion of the tour. Alaska is pretty easy to drive around, and you get to see a ton more
