I looked for the answer but most is just speculation not a definite answer

Does anyone know if you can pay cash on the bus at this stop or buy tickets ?

Has anyone gotten on the bus to the city centre without a prepaid pass

Thanks

I know that there is more frequent service from Indiakaj which is a short walk from Langelinie. I am not sure about the cash needed but I have decided to get a pass I think so as to avoid the issue. Will be interested in what you find.

On one site it says you can buy tickets from the driver in cash

you need to buy 2 zone ticket no matter what @24 DKK

will see if anyone else has any experience doing this

He is very responsive :D

Yes you pay 24 kroner and get a 2 zone ticket, there is no such thing as a 1 zone ticket.

I don't think they accept large notes but 100 and 50 notes and perhaps 200 kroner notes will be okay.

Else you can use the citypass and Copenhagen Card.

I think that is what I said

I guess if we had coinage in the correct amount it would be OK ??

The bus driver has enough money for change, I was just trying to say that if you pay with a 200 note you will get the 176 kroner back in 20, 10 coins etc.

No its not an option yet.

We have a system similar to Londons Oyster Card called Rejsekortet, but unlike our system they have started to implement the use of the contactless credit card. So you can use the credit card the same way as the Oyster Card.

When its gonna happen with Rejsekortet is a good question, but I imagine 3-5 years before anything happens.

So for now its cash, City Pass, Copenhagen Card or Rejsekortet.

Mobile tickets is only for Danish mobile phones.

Sorry, I'm a bit confused. Can I pay for the bus tickets with contactless credit or debit card by just swiping the card? Like a London Oyster card.

Otherwise is there somewhere nearby to buy the tickets? Thank you.
