bbjk6515 Posted March 19, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2018 I am able to book one night at the Cove at Atlantis with points for one night, which enables me to get a room for our party of four for just taxes and fees. We will be in port for a long day (7-6), and I'm wondering if there is any problem with checking-in in the morning, using the pools, etc., and then just leaving without using the room. This alternative (similar Comfort Suites) would save several hundred dollars. Has anyone done this before (or can anyone think of problems with this idea)? Thank you! resstation Posted March 19, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2018 Yes, we have done this at Atlantis. Keep in mind that check in time is usually 3 or 4pm so if you check in in the morning you may not be able to use the room at all until then if it is busy (we used the room to store our dry clothes to change into, put our wallets in the safe etc). scubagirrl Posted March 19, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 19, 2018 You can check in to either the Cove, or Comfort Suites and not use the room. Pools open at 9am/ slides open at 10am (Cove pool is for adults only) In order to get back onboard by 5:30, you will need to leave around 4:15pm (traffic backs up on the bridge leaving the island and can take the better part of an hour. Room rate is for 2 ppl. Ea. add'l adult person is charged and all fees apply.
