nhraformula00 Posted March 23, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 23, 2018 :mad:Was looking at doing a 8 night in May on the Car Princess, inside cabin was $ 609 p.p. Was considering a 10 day also in May but DW said she could not get away from work that long. Price had gone down over the last week about $150. Was about to book the 8 night one on Tuesday but DW worked till 9PM. Yesterday morning I looked to see if it had gone down any more and was surprised to see it had gone up to $ 800 p.p. OUCH!!! USNUZULOOSE Posted March 23, 2018 #8 Share Posted March 23, 2018 I know the feeling, so hard to find the funds. By the time we pay for the cruise, train fare, and people to stay with the dogs just to expensive for us. But I don't mind reading about peoples trips. At least someone is enjoying the cruises. Expat Cruise Posted March 23, 2018 #9 Share Posted March 23, 2018 If you see a good price you should really lock it in with a hold. It gives you time to work details.

nhraformula00 Posted March 23, 2018 Author #13 Share Posted March 23, 2018 I was trying to persuade the wife into the 10 day. Not quite sure what we will do now, wait and see I guess. How would you past Princess cruisers rate the mattresses on from 1 hard, to 10 soft? This would be our first time on a Princess cruise. Thanks!! nojoke Posted March 23, 2018 #14 Share Posted March 23, 2018 We cruised on the Royal Princess in January. I would give the bed a 5--just right--all the bedding was lovely--especially the pillows. And yes, do book the 10 days! We love 10 days, and not being reminded about disembarkation on the second day!

Paying for the dogs & finding care for one special needs is pricey & always anxiety producing for me. 😛

Just right for us & DH was having back problems on our cruises in November and was very comfortable.
