Tell me about taking a 3-4 day cruise after being used to a 7 day!

Do I feel the 3 and 4 day cruises are up to the standards of newer, larger ships? No.

However, that isn't necessarily a condemnation. By lacking some of the newer features and dining options, it limits how much upsale there is. I think you'll find a somewhat younger crowd, even on the 4 day cruises. They take the highlights of a 7 day cruise and scale them into a shorter timeframe. You'll likely still notice signature entertainment or audience participation shows.

Majesty has a terrific Viking Crown lounge, something verboten to commoners on Oasis-class, and gone altogether on Quantum-class, so there are some good tradeoffs.

We live near several ports, so for us either a 3 or 4 day cruise is no big deal. The 3 day is like a half day of PTO for me Friday, walk off and go to work Monday. If I had to incur travel expenses I'd have a really hard time doing anything less than 6 days.
