CruisinChills Posted March 31, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 31, 2018 There is no “normal” weather in Boston, lol! Our first Dawn to Bermuda in late June departed Boston in cool, foggy, raw conditions — like Alaska conditions. But it had been 80 and sunny the day before! The good news is they are very good at getting you into the warmer zone quickly — the next day we were off the coast of the Carolinas and it was balmy. If you don’t live in/near Boston and can’t decide on your departure clothes the day of (which we were able to do), you should probably include a light jacket/raincoat, and a pair of long pants just in case. Barb Nahoumi Posted March 31, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 31, 2018 We did the Boston to Bermuda cruise on the Dawn last June. The weather was pleasant, leaving Boston, but we had some rain in Bermuda. To be on the safe side, I recommend bringing a rain poncho, and hope that you won't need it. Two of the three days we were there were sunny. Rare BirdTravels Posted March 31, 2018 #5 Share Posted March 31, 2018 We sailed from New York to Bermuda on May 29 last year. Weather was in the 60’s climbing to 70’s at sea. Cool but not cold at sea. Shorts and t-shirt weather. And was in the mid- high-70’s in Bermuda. Beautiful beach weather.

Would you choose this week again based on weather? I am debating about changing to a few weeks later, but for more than $2500 I am not too sure it would make a huge difference. Rare BostonGal35 Posted June 19, 2018 #7 Share Posted June 19, 2018 we went memorial day week from NYC last year and we had great weather. Water is a bit brisk but we are from New England so we are used to cold ocean temps. if you can handle the waters off of the coast of maine, then bermuda this time of year is wonderful! billfish Posted June 19, 2018 #8 Share Posted June 19, 2018 we went memorial day week from NYC last year and we had great weather. Keep in mind the the water temperature in early June is below 60 degrees. While the temps a few miles inland may be 75 to 80 on the water may be in the low to mid 60's. We have done a few early season Bermuda cruises and not had a problem. Bring a wind breaker and a light hoodie or long sleeve shirt and you will be fine after the first day. inkboy95 Posted June 19, 2018 #9 Share Posted June 19, 2018 Like a previous poster said there is no normal weather in Boston. This year in early June a lot of days in the low sixties, but who knows you could get one of those 80s days also. Best bet is prepare for anything. Something fun! Posted June 21, 2018 #10 Share Posted June 21, 2018 Like a previous poster said there is no normal weather in Boston. This year in early June a lot of days in the low sixties, but who knows you could get one of those 80s days also. Best bet is prepare for anything. This! May and June can be any temp and weather on any given day. It generally does not get consistently hot until late June/early July. The only guarantee is that if you plan to walk the Freedom Trail on the 4th of July, it will feel like 100F out. ;p
