We have booked club class round trip to Alaska from LA. The only mini suites do not have covered balconies. This is problematic for us. The only alternative we see is skipping club class - any other suggestions? Thanks - Mary

Book a full suite. Club Class Dining plus a whole lot more perks.

 

Or wait until September 2019 when Royal Princess does this sailing. Not terraced like the Grand-class ships so no fully uncovered balconies.

You probably will not get too much balcony time on an Alaska cruise during April or September when the RT L.A. is offered.

If you're on the April 27 th sailing all balconies and suites are sold out. If you're not on that date then you have a choice, club class OR mini's on deck 8 which are covered assuming everything is still available.

I wouldn't dream of an Alaskan cruise without a balcony. watching the glaciers calf and spending hours in Glacier bay on the balcony with a nice warm blanket and hot coffee is heaven.

Email me. We have covered balcony on E Deck. Your cost is probably quite a bit higher & we would not pay that. If it is really important to you, we might consider switching.
