Btw it says there is a welcome and goodbye gift given. Can someone who has been on an elite cruise let me know what they got. Also it stated there are many daily drawings so does anyone know what they give i.e. types and amounts. This is a curiosity and my kid and I are dying to know. Thanks.

My husband and I booked an Elite offer that I received by email today. Vista from Galveston on 12/30. When talking to the CVP he couldn't tell me much other that only a few people are invited on an elite cruise and he says that those are the ones people always want. I've been on one Premier but never an ultra. I have gotten invitations for Ultra's but have been unable to go. Can't wait to find out what it includes. Looking at what other people have said, it includes a bottle and mixer for both guests for the room, drinks anywhere on the ship, free shore excursion, specialty restaurant meal, parking, platinum status for both guests and VIP status. Hope this one is the same. He also said there were only a few designated balcony cabins on each ship. Didn't ask about suites. Excited to have the opportunity to cruise on New Year's.

That is awesome! Good for you! How were the rates? Usually pretty high for that time. Would love to surprise my family at Christmas with that trip!

The total cost for the cruise was over $3000 but we only paid port charges. It's a drive to Galveston but not too bad. Retired this past April and have the time finally.

Are you saying you got the cabin for free and only paid port charges? That is fantastic!

  • 3 weeks later...

Just letting people know that if you cannot do the elite offer or want another free cruise sign up at urcomped and scan and send a copy of your free elite cruise. I did that a couple of weeks ago and will be going on the Oasis in December for just port charges. They matched the balcony offer.

We are on the Vista October 14th for the Elite Cruise! My hubby received the offer by snail mail and I was surprised that there were still a couple balconies left when we called. We booked immediately. Did find out that they will email Brian for favorite drink information and if we need parking at the port or airport pickup and other information. Can't wait to go!

This morning I booked the Pride 11/3/19 Elite. 14 days of free drinks anywhere on the ship wheeee!  Sad that there is no gift, but I guess with the other perks, it is understandable.

I didn't see that Cruise in the elite offers that I just got.  Where did you get that offer, e-mail, website ?

I went on an elite cruise last summer and it included drinks all over the ship, $500 cash, reimbursed us for parking, free slot tourney (I won $400- came in 1st place), little gifts in the room (small back packs, pens, cookies, box of candy, etc), 2  cocktail receptions, free excursion and a few games in the casino like matilda the cow.   All in all it was a great cruise!

The offer showed up on my offer page early this am, no email yet, lol.  The offer went away once I booked.
