Now that the Alaska cruise season is coming to a close we should see a lot more traffic heading back to the Caribbean for the winter season.

I thought those were the new locks, because the gates slide across, where as the old locks the gates swing open.

Night transit for BC Ferry Spirit of Vancouver Island. She's the third ferry to make the journey to Gdansk, Poland for an in depth spa treatment. Sept. 25/26

Compagnie du Ponant le Soleal making a night transit. Discovered these ships have great webcams...if only it was daylight and not raining...

Guess they wanted to save the daylight guarantee fee for other things:D! Looked at her past track and she was able to clear Gatun Locks and cross a good part of the Lake in daylight. The Cut at night is attractive.

Posting the pic seemed straight forward and easy... I just went took a picture from my computer's picture and clicked copy, then pasted it here.  Did not have to go to another hosting site, upload it there and then get the code to paste in the post above.  Probably going to be a huge learning curve for awhile.
