As you can see from the When and Where’s for this cruise, there has been Bridge get togethers for both beginners and regular players along with MahJong & Chess among other things.

The Captain has generously put on tours of the Bridge for three consecutive days so that everyone who wants can see the bridge and go on the wings. There was lots of security to make sure that no one pushed the “wrong” button. LOL.

We met up with our friends Jose and Frances when we got back and sat on the verandah looking for whales. They had never done Canaletto so, I headed there to see if they could get us in and we got a lovely table looking at the aft.

I really like this Canaletto as they draw the curtains so it is separated from the Lido and very private.

Canaletto got two thumbs up from all of us. It was delish. I still say it is the best Canaletto in the fleet.

Here is the menu for it.

Another busy sea day. There is a medallion ceremony this morning and a Mariner’s brunch (the first of a couple). And, then this afternoon our roll call has it’s photo scavenger hunt. (They’ll get hints where to find things and must bring back pics on their phones, cameras, whatever).

And of course the winning team will get a nice prize. Can’t reveal it yet in case one of the roll call members is reading the Live thread.

A great suggestion by Sue (Rockers2). I think it should be fun.

Of course there are the usual sea day activities as well.

Here is today’s When and Where….

Here is the Mariner's brunch menu from today.

They were VERY generous with the sparkling wine/wine.

Medallion ceremony had lots of munchies and refills too!

Missed Horta on our last cruise. Went to Funachel instead, which kind of reminds me of the pictures you posted of Horta. Funachel also has the pictures painted by sailors doing TA on the harbor walls.

Oh the cellar master dinner looked great! The lobster salad, oh my! I couldn’t read the wine label that you liked so well. Was that the Groovy? Gruner veltliner.

And octopus can be so good! The Canaletto looks great!

It was the second wine on the cellar master listing - from Austria.

AndreaB kindly ordered it for our table last night and there were only two bottles left on the ship so we got them both!
