Baltimore Terminal - Grandeur of the Seas

Recommended Posts

Just go. The Baltimore terminal has a reputation for easy in - easy out and the terminal staff are good people to work with. We cruised out of there a few years ago and we had a passport issue. Our fault, not the terminal. The people there were very helpful in getting it resolved.

Going out of there again Sept. 13th. Looking forward to it.

The Baltimore Terminal is very guest friendly to use. If coming off Northbound I-95 to get to the Terminal, be very aware of the speed limit signs for that stretch of road from the interstate and on the surface street.

I am sailing out of the Baltimore terminal for the first time in September. Any tips to make it an easy boarding and departure?

The tip is good choice. I don't want to jinx you but we have been in/out of Baltimore four times with easy embarkation. Last December we arrived late so people coming for the next cruise were arriving at the same time people were getting off the boat causing some traffic issues in the parking lot and the surrounding streets.

Things are well marked once you pull in. Someone will ask if you are parking or dropoff. If you need luggage tags you can easily get them at the first tent. Then drive over to the luggage line, where a porter will take your bags. They will direct you to the parking line, where you will pull up to the pay booth. Then just follow the attendants to a parking spot, take your carryons, and enter the terminal.
