molly361 Posted June 10, 2018 #4 Share Posted June 10, 2018 So tempting. But dh is out of vacation days. Sent from my iPhone using Forums I went back and checked suite prices, no bargains. Interestingly though every single CL L1 is available, seems odd that not one of them is booked.

Biker19 Posted June 10, 2018 #10 Share Posted June 10, 2018 Last minute pricing seems to be moving further out. The CP pricing seems to also include $175 in OBC.

Clarea Posted June 10, 2018 #15 Share Posted June 10, 2018 It's funny tho, the CP room price doesn't change with the Diamond Discount. Could be an "instant discount" that is the same amount as the balcony discount.

Rare crusinthrough Posted June 10, 2018 #19 Share Posted June 10, 2018 I went back and checked suite prices, no bargains. Interestingly though every single CL L1 is available, seems odd that not one of them is booked. I am on the sailing the week after and all the CLS and suites are sold out because the pricing was much better. I think there is one JS that popped up recently. On this sailing did you also notice how many GS and other other suites are available? Overall, I've noticed when the price of the CLS is inflated at 3K or more they tend not to sell. Probably because of the price and that it is a non refundable rate. I am happy to see people are not buying into RC inflated suite prices. If this continues, the bean counters will have to price suites at a realistic price from the onset and maybe rethink the conditions of the non refundable deposit. Carnival does the non refundable rate a little better by combining it with early saver pricing.

Great price booked a CP balcony to make it B2B with 01/13/19 cruise. Plus added a $200 cretificate from casino royale that was about to expire. It came out to $1065 total for 2 then off $200 from CR, Plus $175 OBC
Rare whitshel Posted June 10, 2018 Author #21 Share Posted June 10, 2018 I almost wonder if thats a mistake, no other cruise around that is even close to those prices.
rt1092 Posted June 10, 2018 #22 Share Posted June 10, 2018 I almost wonder if thats a mistake, no other cruise around that is even close to those prices. Sometimes they have a "target" date to sell X amount of Y class cabins. Once they reach the target, the price goes back up. Those sales are usually at 4am. I went to the next cruise desk on a sailing we were with friends they booked a great deal, then I sat down to book the same cruise and category, price was $1000 more. Even if it's a mistake they will honor the price. I'm going to call tomorrow and tell them they didn't add our $275 balcony discount. Don't know if it will work. But it's worth a try. Biker19 Posted June 10, 2018 #23 Share Posted June 10, 2018 Even if it's a mistake they will honor the price. Not always - we've had reported "mistake price" bookings cancelled by RCI. Biker, who got sucked in again by a CC price announcement.
lovescats5 Posted June 10, 2018 #24 Share Posted June 10, 2018 How can you afford 3 Star Class suites between now and then? We can only do 2 a year, and the A1 was not available or we would have probably booked that.
