crilski Posted June 28, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 28, 2018 I just got off the phone with Celebrity. The woman reminded me to make reservations for entertainment once I got on board. I questioned that, since I've cruised Celebrity before and that was never needed. Is this something new? Or just on Reflection? Or - did she not know what she was talking about? Thanks! CHEZMARYLOU Posted June 28, 2018 #2 Share Posted June 28, 2018 We've never made reservations for entertainment and have sailed all ships except Reflection, the latest on Silhouette in February. Maybe she meant to say dinner reservations.
crilski Posted June 28, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted June 28, 2018 Sheesh - love the way I spelled 'entertainment'. It was not dinner. I think she's mistaken, but I wanted to double check.
ChuckL Posted June 28, 2018 #4 Share Posted June 28, 2018 Sheesh - love the way I spelled 'entertainment'. It was not dinner. I think she's mistaken, but I wanted to double check. A couple of weeks ago I asked my Celebrity personal vacation planner whether entertainment reservations were made on the Reflection. She told me they were not. I asked because I knew we had to make them on Royal Caribbean previously. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Bo1953 Posted June 28, 2018 #6 Share Posted June 28, 2018 I will go out on a limb, in fact to the Edge, here and just say, the CSR did mean dinner, if you have Select Dining and for whatever reason 'entertainment' came out. Sometimes I even mis-speak thinking about something else and what I said has no bearing on the conversation at hand. To be clear, I Am sure you were told entertainment, yet that is not what was meant and after hanging up with you the CSR, went 'LOL, I really did mean dinner, can't believe I said that'. No big deal, as many of us know that, usually, there are never reservations for entertainment, only reserved seating for those in the upper suites. bon voyage
Rare cruisestitch Posted June 28, 2018 #7 Share Posted June 28, 2018 The CSR probably formerly worked on the Royal Caribbean phones and remembered their procedures, not Celebrity’s.

crilski Posted June 28, 2018 Author #9 Share Posted June 28, 2018 Thanks for the answers. I have booked the Anthem far into the future. I know I need to make reservations there - which will be a new experience. I'm happy not to make reservations.
