Transportation MIA to downtown Miami

Looking for a low cost option from the airport to downtown (Holiday Inn POM) or if anyone has taken a cab recently what was the cost?

How easy would it be using the Metro Rail from the airport vs just using Uber for two 60 something’s with minor mobility issues?

Uber is going to be the easiest since it is essentially door-to-door service where the driver will load and unlaod luggage.

 

Metro Rail os not door-to-door but station-to-station service where the two 60 somethings are going to drag bags the station, onto the train, off the train, and out of the station at the other end. Then they get to enjoy dragging bags to final destination.

Our Uber from MIA to the Courtyard Downtown was $25. Traffic can be an issue during the morning and evening rush hours, but our Saturday late afternoon trip was about 25”.
