Did you hear this recently?  A while back, he announced that he was retiring from ship life, but his retirement was short-lived as it wasn't long before he appeared back on the schedule for regular contracts.

Yes Donna. This is recent news. I felt he had already ‘checked out’ as a CD when I was on Explorer in June. 

Best of luck to him in the future.

We were on repositioning cruise with him from Australia to Southampton...saw very little of him except morning show (tv)  and evening show. Not one of my favorites.

 That was our experience in 2017 when we were on one of the last cruises he did before we was due to retire. I was not too upset when I realised Mark was here instead. We had him as our Activities Manager on Navigator in 2016 and thought he was great.
