Current Cruise Director (CD) List

Had Jimmy Rhodes a few times.  He was our least favorite CD.  Also had Dave Chapman.  We much preferred him.  I'm hoping to have a good CD when I cruise on the Navigator this January.

Dennis Charles is on Harmony currently.

 

If you aren't a fan of high-energy types, avoid the short cruises altogether. There is a reason why the likes of Ricky and Hugo are often assigned to the short cruises, since their energy is the best fit for that demographic.

Beautiful....never heard of him after 16 RCL cruises but I'm sure we will be pleasantly surprised. Two years ago, on the spur of the moment , my wife booked the small ship "Rhapsody" to Key West, Cozumel etc ...a fellow named Graham  (can't remember his last name) was CD and he was hilarious and talented. Will you be on Harmony on the 25th?

I'm afraid that I won't be, but I was on Harmony last month and it was great - you'll have a fantastic cruise.

Anyone know how Dan Whitney is?  We are supposed to have him on Anthem.  In May we had Mitch and we didn’t think he was that exciting!

We had Dan on a transatlantic a while back.  Personable, witty, enjoyable.

Probably Graham Seymour a superb cruise director in my opinion.

we had Ricky Matthews on Mariner last December.

I did not care for him the 1st night, but then after that night...WOW!

What a showman!  He was phenomenal!  Yes, very high energy.

Mike Hunnerrup was on the July 28th Allure Cruise and he was fabulous.  I tend to judge the Cruise Directors by the way they handle The Quest and he did a great job, switching up the questions quite a bIt, with tons of energy.

 

If the Cruise Director doesn’t run the Quest, they’re not doing a good job, IMO.

They are often busy on the big ships. AM Moe hosted it on Harmony. That said, Quest and Love and Marriage are usually what determines whether or not someone is a good CD.

She was Activities Manager on Symphony for 4 months prior to joining Freedom, so my guess is that she is covering Patricio's vacation for 2 months and he will likely return soon. That would mean that he will be onboard for 4 months which is perfect timing for Cory to join FR in December.

Who gives a rip on the CD.  Paul Rutter was on our last and ate with him several times.
