She is only filling in and she did not know who was following her. She will not be on board when we sail again 31 Jan.

Oasis left drydock 3 weeks ago. Bobby did the first 3 weeks after drydock so Michele should be taking over on Sunday.

Just off Oasis Sunday (12/15/19) & can confirm Bobby was leaving the Oasis.  He is going on vacation.

Sorry I don't have specific dates, but he is heading to Allure next for its amplification, & then on to the Odyssey.

This was straight form Bobby at Captain's Q & A.  He also said that as always, things are subject to change.

The next cruise director was on board with him.  It was hard to understand with Bobby's accent, but his name did not sound like Michele, unless it is not pronounced as spelled. It sounded more like Mikeli or Nikeli? So I can't confirm or deny that it is Michele Scarpato as previously mentioned.

We had Bobby years ago as CD & did not care for him then.  I must say he was great this time around! Very visible (especially for an Oasis class ship) & personable.

It is Michele Scarpato, we have had him before and I saw him on the ship with Bobby. He is awesome!

That's how his name is pronounced - I believe it's the Italian form of Michael.

We will have Mitch still, the Jan 5 cruise will be his last on board.

 

Source: Someone asked him on his facebook wall and he replied and said Jan 5 would be his last one. He did not say who would replace him for the Jan 16 Cruise! We'll have to find out on board.

He is in my top 5 WORST....LIST. very wooden and insincere. Had him on Serenade last Fall. Absolutely nothing to write home about.

He was our #1 worst.  Also had him on Serenade.

I haven't had him but he joined Royal earlier this year on Serenade and the reviews were terrible. I did put those reviews down to him being new but I've since seen a few videos of him from when he worked on other lines and I wasn't at all impressed with what I saw - didn't seem to have the right personality to be a CD.

 

You never know - it's all subjective and maybe he has improved.

I believe that Elvis Pinto is going to Freedom next so I'm guessing that he will join after amplification.

At M&M, the AM (Nick) said that Katy and he would be leaving at the same time.  Chris Brown will be replacing Katy, and I cannot remember the name of the new AM but he used to be Acrobatic Manager.  Nick will be moving over to Symphony as AM.

Spoke to Michele, he will be CD on Allure from May to September 2020.
Bobby did also mention he will be there for the first few sailings after dry dock
