GA Dave Posted July 26, 2018 #351 Share Posted July 26, 2018 Check out the snack mix that just arrived... nothing but nuts! I’ll find it tough to ever cruise again on a ship without the Waterfront. This has been our spot this time around. I am so looking forward to spending time on The Waterfront on my upcoming Getaway cruise! My plan is to work my way through the drink menus of both the Sunset Bar and Sugarcane Mojito Bar!! :tropical-drink:
Sauer-kraut Posted July 26, 2018 #352 Share Posted July 26, 2018 On our way to the Hermitage Museum, and we pass over a river with a submarine and warships lining up for practicing a parade that will occur later. They really knew you were coming Doug.....they put on a parade for you~~ ;p
Indykitten Posted July 26, 2018 #353 Share Posted July 26, 2018 Ok, so I've spotted Lagunitas IPA and Goose Island IPA. Still have Little Sumpin' Sumpin'? Anything else craft or interesting in bottles or cans? Asking for a friend...
oncruisecontrol Posted July 27, 2018 #354 Share Posted July 27, 2018 About 3 or 4 countries fighting it out... Looks like they all won! Food looks good(especially those meatballs). Love zucchini and yellow squash too! But I'd change the rice for pasta. We just booked Breakaway for 2019; going back on Getaway in a couple of months! Loving your review! Shellbelle28 Posted July 27, 2018 #355 Share Posted July 27, 2018 Recharging in the Garden Cafe, and this boy earned a ship-made cookie... We’re just having lite snacks, as we have reservations at La Cucina in a couple hours. While seated at our table, a random stranger sits down at a vacant spot at our table. We shared some pleasant light talk, but still a little odd. Back in the room, and Sue arrives with a Miami Vice... Need to know, and please baby Jesus I hope the topic of the question won't hijack your review! Has NCL gotten paper straws yet, or are they totally straw free?? The barista in the atrium said that they’re still trying to figure something out long term.

ElaineKeagy Posted July 27, 2018 #359 Share Posted July 27, 2018 I bought a large large box of plastic straws at Sams Club. Seriously, they should last me the rest of my life. Storing them with the 300+ incandescent 100 watt bulbs I bought before they took them off the shelves. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Anything else craft or interesting in bottles or cans? Asking for a friend... I haven’t seen Sumpin’ Sumpin’ - and am guessing it’s been replaced with the IPA on this ship/itinerary. Beyond that and the Goose Island IPA, it’s the typical NCL cry-town selection.

TheDougOut Posted July 27, 2018 Author #363 Share Posted July 27, 2018 (edited) Taking a ride on the subway. The government has invested significantly in the system, wanting to relay a sense of lifestyle improvement year after year. Each station is named & themed for the surrounding area. This is Sports Station, named for the surrounding stadiums and ice rink. We arrive to Admiral Teyskaya station... The escalator ride to the surface takes 3 1/2 minutes. We’re now back on the bus and heading to our boat ride. Edited July 27, 2018 by TheDougOut
