Crown Princess

We are looking into a eastern Caribbean cruise on the Crown next February. Would like to hear your experiences and thought about this ship.

Have you sailed with Princess before?

 

The Crown is a typical Princess vessel.

 

Pools, theater, International Cafe, MDR and Anytime dining.

 

We enjoyed it in Dec. 17....not sure what you are asking.

We have been on the crown several times - close to 100 days in all. We have always had a wonderful time

We've sailed the Crown to Alaska, to Mexico and on a transatlantic cruise. All told, 28 days of great cruising.

 

As thinfool said, it's a typical Princess ship, good food, good service, good entertainment. What's not to like?

We were on the Crown this past May on a two week Med cruise and thought she was a very nice ship

We sailed the Crown in Feb. right before dry dock. We are going back on a 10 Day Carribean in Feb. 2019. We enjoyed her and look forward to the upgrades.

The Crown is a sister ship to the Emerald and Ruby having entered service in 2006. She is a really nice ship and very typical of most Princess ships before the launch of the Royal class ships. We were on the Crown last year.

we done 14 nights on her last year, doing another 14 nights in a fortnight,... no complaints I can recall ?

We've been on her quite a few times......great ship in great shape.

One caveat though, of all the Princess ships, she's the one most likely to come down with Norovirus.

She always seems to be in the news for all the wrong reasons, Norovirus that is. Others may disagree.

So far we've been lucky, 47 years cruising and have so far always managed to escape that dreaded virus,

even on the Crown.

At times you may run into hotel director Martin Ford onboard, he's one of Princess's best ! Great guy to know.
