Captain k Posted August 3, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 3, 2018 Heading out on the Royal later this year to the western Caribbean (grand Cayman, roatan, Belize, and Cozumel. Does anyone have any idea when the formal nights are as we like to pre book the specialty restaurants those nights. Princess rep doesn't know. Also where is the Royal the week of December 1? Thanks very much for any info.
-Lew- Posted August 3, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2018 The itinerary with dates would have been helpful, but formal nights on a seven day cruise are generally on the first sea day and a sea day close to the end, but not the final evening. sunsetbeachgal Posted August 3, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 3, 2018 Also just be aware that to prebook the specialty restaurants you are required to prepay in full with credit card. Have seen on these boards that on-board credit can not be used to book specialty restaurants in advance. It can be used for this once on-board. Thanks very much for any info. Itinerary: F.L., Sea, Grand Cayman (tender), Roatan, Belize (tender), Cozumel (late evening), sea, F.L. Formal evenings will most likely be the first sea day and probably Roatan since Belize is a tender port. It will not be the last evening. Formal nights are shown in the Princess Patter which will be in your cabin when you board. If you have extra OBC you might want to wait until you board to schedule a specialty restaurant. Pre-booking is charged directly to your credit card. Dec. 1st, charter?
PoohUnderstands Posted August 5, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 5, 2018 Just off this itinerary on the Caribbean Princess today. Our formal nights were the first sea day (second night), and the night we were in the port of Belize. Pooh
