Unlike Stumblefoot's colorado kitty my pets could be eaten by most in this thread so around home cats and dogs are not welcome. Here they are. First the butcher birds. I talk to them every day. on occasions about a dozen of them will come and sit in one of our frangipanis and sing in rounds. just magic.

And here is my friend the blue tongue lizard. Some years ago I saved an ancestor from drowning with 2 finger chest percussion. The family have stayed ever since.

I think I'd rather face the mountain lions than a dozen of those birds 😉

Yes I have an irrational fear of birds.  (I thank Alfred Hitchcock for that.)

Well, this sent me to a new tab to research this creature.  Wow!  So glad Australia and NZ are booked for a cruise.  But in 601 days?  What was I thinking?

Then, after a quick trip to MySilversea, I thought I saw the lizard is of the genus Tequila.

Which reminded me that it is Friday night of a holiday a weekend, so - Cheers everyone!

the actual genus is Tiliqua, which might be the same thing...

In the centre of Melbourne on the 32nd level we are visited most days by either Currawongs or Australian Magpies who sit on the balcony rail and sing to us.  We don't feed them but they keep coming. Maybe they are giving us a hint?

Happy Easter Sunday Everyone,

Well it is here in Perth. 😁

We will have family coming for lunch and it is a lovely, sunny day with temperature around 24C. Perfect Easter Egg hunt weather which we will organise for my sister's grandchildren.
