jenniferop Posted August 7, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 7, 2018 Hello - a Large group of us (5 cabins - 10 people) are sailing next April and we are trying to plan out our dinners - we are looking at Wonderland - but we are not sure of the process for ordering? Do you choose one items from each category (Sun, Ice, Fire, Sea, Earth, Dreams - like a tasting menu)? What do you get for $49pp? is it worth it? several of us would consider ourselves foodies - they others will just come along for the ride... And actually we are looking to purchase the $40 BOGO and going to Wonderland for one of the nights so it would be a steal at $20pp....thoughts from anyone that has gone yet? Mim Lloyd Posted August 7, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 7, 2018 We went using our BOGOF and it was worth going for the experience. The food was okay, not exceptional but certainly a little different. Before we went we were a little confused at how the menu worked but you needed worry. The waiter firstly asks you if there are any foods you hate and then basically just tells you what you'll be getting! During your meal you're visited by the campest Mad Hatter ever! The meal is really about the visual experience rather than the food and we're glad we went but probably wouldn't do it again.
Rare little britain Posted August 7, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 7, 2018 IMO Wonderland is best with a large group as you get to try everything on the menu. You don't really order, the waiters usually suggest items from each section.... just go for it all (and double up the order for the eggs....yum!) It is an amazing experience. The 'foodies' will love it! And the food really isn't as weird as it sounds. Just tell the non foodies that it is meat and potatoes......
maryjaden Posted August 7, 2018 #4 Share Posted August 7, 2018 We loved Wonderland even the picky eaters. We let our waiter choose for us and we were not disappointed.
Rare steamboats Posted August 7, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 7, 2018 Actually you don´t chose anything from the menu. The waiter asks for allergies. And then he just gets you something from the menu. With a group of 10 you pretty likely get everything. You share the dishes. We had the two nights package for first and second night and had no problem to get Hooked on the first and Wonderland on the second night. steamboats
Rare silentbob007 Posted August 7, 2018 #6 Share Posted August 7, 2018 I’m a foodie and went with some people who were not. We all had a blast and let the server set the course besides the “main” dish for each.
