St. Petersburg tour with Nesting doll class?

Has anyone taken a tour which included the Matryoshka Master Class included as part of the tour?

 

Best Tours has one tour which includes it, but it's the tour for folks with kids (we don't have human children). I'd still love to do one of the "regular" tours and add this on - was just wondering if anyone else had done the same?

I’m guessing if it was aimed toward kids it would just be these kind of cheap looking kits I saw. Maybe you could ask your guide company to arrange an “adult” lesson if you are artistically inclined

Actually this one doesn’t necessarily look kid-oriented, it might be ok

I know people who did the class (but not as part of a tour so can't comment on that part of your question.) Both kids and adults enjoyed it and the doll they made looked pretty good to my uneducated eye.

I don't know the answer but you can buy the dolls from Amazon unpainted.

 

When we were in Russia - it was an adult activity as part of our river cruise. I did look up the reviews of what the OP posted and it had great reviews and did seem like an activity enjoyed by all ages.

 

I wouldn't sacrifice 3 hours of my time St. Petersburg for this. So much to see, so little time.
