SarcasmSpasm Posted August 28, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 28, 2018 Hello! My mother lives in Stonecrest and doesn’t drive. We live in NY and want her to join us on our next cruise out of FLL. Does The Villages offer any type of shuttle service to FLL cruise terminal? If so, what is it called? Price? Where does it leave from? Can non-residents use it? Thanks for any help! SailorJeff66 Posted August 28, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 28, 2018 There is a shuttle. Not sure about cost. I have a coworker who's a village's resident, I can ask him if you'd like.

If there is a shuttle to Orlando airport, she could fly from there to FLL. SailorJeff66 Posted August 28, 2018 #4 Share Posted August 28, 2018 Quickly checked Google. There's several companies offering shuttle services from the villages to all the cruise ports.

pretzlaff Posted August 30, 2018 #8 Share Posted August 30, 2018 We live there and always rent a one-way car. The cruise connection bus looks painfully long, so we have never used it. If you are coming down a day early for the cruise, fly into Orlando, rent a one-way car to FLL, drive up here, spend the night, and then all drive down the next day. Then reverse the process at the end. I also worry about her missing the once a day bus down there and getting trapped. Another option is to go on the Roll Call and see if anyone in The Villages is on the cruise and would give her a ride. Last, if you flew into Orlando, she could easily meet you down there. We have constant door to door shuttles to MCO for $40.
