WiFi quality on the Dawn?

Recommended Posts

First time NCL and Dawn cruisers (usually RCCL) and looking forward to seeing everything NCL has to offer. I still need to be WiFi connected while sailing. How is the WiFi on the Dawn?

Compared to RCL's Voom, you will find NCL's satellite WiFi to be slower & more expensive, but it works fine for us ... just don't plan on streaming as that's the premium & unlimited package.

You should find dual-band wireless coverage only - no ethernet connections - from their Cisco/Lenovo server/hardware, hospitality graded.

If you are sailing to Bermuda, Dockyard area has paid WiFi coverage, a 3 days pass was $15 or $20, not expensive but coverage & range is somewhat limited - it is an alternative. We have "cheap" roaming 4G data coverage on local partner's cellular tower, DigiCel and it was fast while docked in Bermuda - excellent coverage & signal from our balcony.
