Yes, there will be Happy Hours. The number, time and location vary by cruise, and even daily on a given cruise.

I believe the current deal is buy one, get the second for $2.

Not sure why you give your e mail. In fact, Cruise Critic rules state we should not e mail you, rather share the info here, where everyone can learn from it.

On both of our K'dam sailings, a daily happy hour from 4-5 was offered at the Sea View Bar. Nice to come back from our off-ship adventures and take our tired feet for an adult beverage. They also sometimes had a "drink of the day" (a fruity rum punch type drink), or unlimited Pina Coladas in a hollowed out pineapple. Check the daily "what and where" or ask any of the bartenders. They will know.

Our trip on the K-Dam,April this year. Rome-Amsterdam Happy Hour was 4 PM billboard. I missed happy hour at the Crows Nest. Not the same vibe to me but others liked it.

Some ships still do it at the Crows Nest, We plan sailing on the Eurodam come April '19. Anyone know where they do Happy Hour now?

Thanks

Just off the Zuiderdam. There were two scheduled happy hours every day on this 20 day cruise AND, everyday at the Lido Pool area, they were selling Bud, Michelob, and Coors buy one at regular price and get a second one for $2.00. All day every day. It was unadvertised except for the servers who would tout it. They were 16oz. cans. A pretty good deal.

6 - 7 isn't really a good time -- many people are having dinner at that time. So that only benefits the late diners.

OK for late diners, we are second siting @ 8pm on Noordam in April/May.  They should put one on 5pm to 6pm for 1st sitting.   Good value, the more you drink the more you save.

A few years ago there was a Happy Hour from 5 - 6 for we early diners.

There is no reason why HAL can't have a Happy Hour from 5 -6 and another one from 7 - 8 to make all diners happy.

That post referred to an unadvertised happy hour.

On our most recent cruises (Rotterdam, Prinsendam) happy hour was at 4pm (4-5) so plenty of time for early or late diners.

And, IIRC, the 2nd one was at 10 pm so, again plenty of time for early or late diners.

there can be 'specials' around the ship at times.  For example on the Rotterdam when we had the BBKings, it wasn't posted that it was happy hour, but the waiters sure made dam sure we knew it and even came along for 'last call'.

On our September Alaska cruise, happy hour was from 4-5 PM at the Ocean Bar and Billboard, and 10-11 PM in the Crows Nest.  We hit up the Ocean bar mostly because they served appetizers if you got there early enough.

Do you remember when it was 2 for 1 ?  Maybe two years ago.

About a year ago, buy 1 second for a $1

Just now, buy 1, second $2

I see $2.00  off each drink coming.

This last cruise they moved Happy Hour from the Lido bars down to the Ocean Bar and Billboard at around half way. The good news is  it was poring down rain. The bad days is it would of been nice to be outside on the warm sunny crossing.
