I was wondering about that too. There has been no mention of it anywhere that I can recall. Looking at the current list and for those not on a current rotation, and have Quantum class experience, plus haven’t brought out a new build yet, and well liked,  I would guess Captain Felix Srecko Ban. Again, just a guess.

I have only sailed Royal 3 times and two of those times Per was the Captain. I always got a chuckle how he always began his announcements with "This is Captain Per froooommmm the bridge".  Actually when he said "bridge" it sounded like "breach".

I have been told that Captain Per will take over from the yard and Captain Sindre will take over for Israel.

We have sailed with him a few times--I am 1/2 Norwegian, so I thought that I was the only one in our family that loved his announcements.  Turns our our whole family including my son-in-law are huge fans also.  He was the captain on our first cruise too, so there's that.

well, when things get going again we have at least 1 ship filled. Capt Per Kristofferson and Capt Sindre Borsheim on Odyssey

Captain Sindre is currently on quantum which is currently doing 3 and 4 night sailings from Singapore

Thank you. I had him on a few months ago meaning he'd be leaving next week. So I corrected it so that he's just starting his rotation instead of just ending one.

Karen -- I kept the Current Captain list from when cruises were suspended March, 2020.  At that time, Gus Andersen was the Allure captain with his rotation partner TBA.  Do you have any updates on Allure.  She is coming in and out of Miami frequently (probably for crew pickup and vaccinations) over the past 3 or 4 weeks.  We are hoping to sail on her in August.

I currently have Capt Claus Andersen on with the relief captain tbd. We had Tore Grimstad January 2020 then he went to Oasis.

Thanks.  I would guess that the relief captain will be at the helm for our August sailing.  Captain Andresen is keeping busy with sailing Allure into Miami twice during the past couple of weeks and she comes back on  Monday staying until Tuesday.  I think (and hope) she's picking up crew and getting them vaccinated. 🤞

as far as I know the 2 captains are still Capt Graucob and Szymkarczuk. With Graucob on now until June 13.

Michael Lindberg is on Independence now. He’s still listed as being the Captain onboard Vision (his last ship). Hasn’t been on Vision for a year.
