Jewel 2018 drydock updates?

I see that the Norwegian Jewel goes into drydock this fall before heading to Australia. I haven't found info on what might be changing. Are there any details out there?

Not much to go on but I few items.

 

Ship: Norwegian Jewel

Dates: October 2018 (Norwegian Jewel – October 22 through November 5 2018)

Details: Norwegian Jewel will go into dry dock in Singapore in October 2018. As part of Norwegian Cruise Line's Project Edge, the ship will receive bow-to-stern upgrades and refreshed public spaces.

 

The vessel will be all shiny and new before its second season down under. The refurbishment is part of the “Norwegian Edge” program which is multi-million dollar investment in updating the fleet.

The ships last dry dock was completed in May 2014.

I've heard that the concierge lounge in the haven is going away, and two additional suites will take up that space.

Looks like there might be two new Haven rooms on the 15th floor. Just saw it on the floor plans when booking the December 1st Australian cruise today for our honeymoon!!

There is no video, but I can tell you that bathrooms are being left pretty much untouched. Aside from replacing the soap and shampoo dispensers it seems.

I don't think the entertainment will change much. We were on the Pearl a month ago, which had the "Edge" treatment recently, and the entertainment was very similar to the way it was before the updates.

If you do a search online for what the Pearl and Jade look like now, or about the Edge program, you can find lots of pictures, videos, and other info to help you discover what new things should be coming down the pike... I've heard the Edge treatment includes USB chargers incorporated into the bedside lights, so we are most looking forward to that next year!

I didn't notice USB chargers built into the bedside lights when we were on the Pearl last month (but I didn't LOOK for them, so they might have been there).  I think there was a USB build into the plug set up by the desk/TV area. The Pearl had the Edge update last year.

Enjoy the post dry dock sail.  We were on the next to last b/4 dry dock.  Transpacific - Fabulous Trip!

Looking at the 2 videos of the Dawn and Star revitalisations I would expect that the Jewel's Garden Cafe Buffet restaurant would get a complete makeover.  The before and after shots of the Dawn and Star were incredible.  I've never been on the Jewel (booked to cruise on 5 Jan from Sydney) but I'm expecting a lot classier and modern looking ship after the refurbishment.

for your information, NCL Germany wrote the following about the Jewel:

 

The Jewel gets a very extensive renovation that covers almost all areas. Almost all the restaurants, bars and lounges are being modernized, and the main pool area is being changed, giving the atrium a new look. There are some improvements in the casino, the theater, the fitness center, the public toilets and the stairs. The cabins and suites are all being refurbished and now offer USB outlets on the beds, new furniture and upgraded screens. Also in terms of entertainment there are a few changes.

 We wish you much pleasure on the newly renovated Jewel and a wonderful trip!

Any updates?  The ship set sail from Singapore on Nov. 5, but the web cam is stuck on Oct. 27.  Would love to hear about the upgrades in the staterooms and public areas.
